The International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg (IFFMH) is one of Germany’s longest-running film festivals (since 1952), specializing in discovering young talent and auteur cinema. Every November, it presents over 70 international films in Mannheim and Heidelberg, often impressing viewers with their daring narrative. Second only to the Berlinale, it is regarded as the longest-running festival in Germany. The program includes feature films and documentaries that often tackle social or political themes. Alongside new works, there is a curated retrospective.
